Do you live an active lifestyle and want help reaching your fitness goals? Well, exercise enthusiasts – rejoice! The third Supplements drop has landed...and this time they’re tailored to those with an active lifestyle. If that’s you, plus you consume less than 3x meal replacements a day - listen up! Reap the benefits of essential nutrients with three new Active Lifestyle Supplements - the range includes Essential Amino Acids, Essential Omega 3 and CLA supplements. Designed to provide important nutrients that the body cannot produce itselfour new collection makes reaching your goals that little bit easier.

So, let us explain how each supplement works...(It’s about to get science-y!)

What are Essential Amino Acids (EAA)?

First up, Let’s talk Amino Acids... Amino acids are the building blocks that make up protein in your muscle. Essential Amino Acids cannot be produced in the body naturally so must come from other sources like food or supplements. There are nine essential amino acids, these include; histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine(1).

exante EAA tablets contain the perfect blend of all nine essential amino acids, which, to put simply, EAAs are naturally occurring in protein which helps to grow and maintain muscle mass(2). The convenient, Vegan friendly tablets are designed to complement an active lifestyle as well as being an important addition to your varied, balanced diet.

How do I use Essential Amino Acid supplements?

To reap the benefits of the EAA’s muscle growth and maintenance properties, we recommend taking 3 tablets before and after exercise. This supplement is vegetarian and Vegan friendly too!

What is Essential Omega 3 Softgels?

Omega 3 is an essential polyunsaturated fatty acid meaning that it has to be sourced from our diets since these fatty acids aren’t produced in the body.

We’re all familiar with Omega 3 and the health benefits of oily fish...but it might surprise you to learn that the humble tin of tuna doesn’t actually count towards your omega 3 intake(4).

Alternatively, the Omega 3 supplements can provide your body with this essential fatty acid. Plus, our simple softgels are a super convenient way consume more EPA ad DHA to benefit the normal function of the heart3.

How do I use Essential Omega 3 Softgels?

EPA and DHA help contribute to the normal function of the heart. For maximum impact of these essential ingredients, we recommend consuming 1 softgel supplement daily.

What are CLAs?

Our final supplement in the range is the CLAs, which stands for Conjugated Linoleic Acid - a bit of a mouthful to say, right?

The CLA supplements contain naturally occurring Omega 6.  Omega 6 fats, which mainly come from vegetable oils, are also essential, like their cousin, Omega 3. These polyunsaturated fatty acids are not produced in the body naturally, meaning supplements are a more convenient way to consume Omega 6Due to the Omega 6 health benefits, CLAs have become a highly popular food supplement for those with an active lifestyle.

How do I use CLAs?

For maximum benefit, we recommend consuming 2 softgels daily, which are best taken with food.

Can these be taken alongside an exante diet?

The Active Lifestyle range has been designed for those who do regular exercise, therefore these supplements are suitable if you are consuming less than three exante meal replacements a day as well as food.
