3 Low Calorie exante Baking Pack Hacks

We all know baking can be often be difficult when on a diet, but @exantebeachbabe2022 is here to share her delicious low calorie sweet and savoury pack hack ideas.

Kicking things off with a diet-friendly spin on a banana bread made using the much-loved banana meal replacement shake.

Low Calorie Banana Bread

The recipe makes 1 banana bread loaf, which slices into six. Only 150 calories per slice, it's a no-brainer ? Plus, it's made using our low sugar, high protein meal replacement shakes, which also contain gut-friendly* prebiotics!

You will need:

- 2 @exantediet banana shakes - 2 small bananas - 2 eggs - 40g oats - 1 and 1/2 tsp baking powder - splash Coconut milk - small handful of Chocolate Chips

Low calorie exante baking banana bread

Method:

  1. Whizz your oats into flour in a blender and pop into a bowl
  2. Add the shake powder, mashed bananas, eggs, baking powder and coconut milk. Blend until smooth
  3. Line your tin with greaseproof paper and spray oil. Pour mixture into the tin and dot with chocolate chips (optional of course)
  4. Bake at 180 for 35 mins
  5. leave to cool
  6. Enjoy a slice with breakfast and yoghurt or on its own as a protein snack

Savoury Cheese Scones | 120 Calories each

You will need:
  • 1 exante Cheese and Bacon Breakfast Eggs
  • Sprinkle of grated Cheese
  • 110g Oats
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 140g Greek Yoghurt 0% fat
  • Touch of flour for rolling
Method
  1. Blitz your oats in a food processor to make flour then add your exante pack , baking powder and blitz again until mixed
  2. Stir in the yoghurt then gently mix until combined (the trick is to have the mix quite wet)
  3. Add some flour into work surface before adding the dough. Top with another sprinkling of flour
  4. Gently make a round shape with your hands and use a round shape cutter to make 6 scones
  5. Pop the scones onto a baking tray lined with parchment then top with brushed milk and grated cheese then put into an oven at 180 for around 15 mins or until brown. Each scone is around 120 calories.
  6. Top with your desired toppings and enjoy! We've gone for chilli jam & cheddar cheese. Yum!

Savoury Mini Soup Quiches | 30 Calories each

You will need:
  • 1 tortilla wrap (You can find low carb or light ones to reduce calories)
  • 1/2 exante Mushroom Soup
  • 2 eggs
  • Splash of milk
  • Sprinkle of Cheese
  • Mushrooms
  • Black pepper to season
Method:
  1. Chop a handful of mushrooms and fry in a pan with low calorie spray oil. You can season with salt, pepper and garlic to taste. Set aside.
  2. Whisk your eggs with the milk and half the mushroom soup packet until mixture is smooth. Add the cooked mushrooms.
  3. Press a cookie mould into the tortilla wrap to make 9 rounds, then pop them into the base of a muffin tray sprayed with spray oil
  4. Pour the egg mix into the muffin tray, covering the tortilla wraps. Sprinkle with cheese and season with the black pepper.
  5. Pop into the oven for 15 mins on 180 until browned. Enjoy warm or cold
