Nice if you spice it up
4I think this was the first of the dinner range. I started using Exante when they did four soups, four shakes and two bars so having a dinner type meal was a big deal back then. I didn't take to it as I found it a little salty and the cheese artificial tasting, but I like it much better now as I make it up a little differently. I use cold water, and about 1.5 or twice the amount specified on the packet. I put it in a small saucepan and whisk it with a fork and let it sit for about five minutes to allow the pasta to expand a bit. I then heat it gently on the hob until it simmers, heat for a further minute, then let it stand for 2-3 minutes. I also add lots of freshly ground black pepper or some Econa Hot Pepper sauce to taste and sometimes a sprig of finely chopped parsley or a few chives. It makes it much nicer. I know the microwave method is quicker but it never worked effectively for me and the taste was blurgh.

5As a cheeseaholic this meal is ideal and I find myself looking forward to it at the end of each day. I haven’t even tried my other options as I enjoy the carbonara so much. It takes some experimenting with timings to get the sauce to a nice consistency but even when it is a bit runny the taste is great.

2I'm afraid this is the only pack I have tried that I really can not stomach, and I'm not fussy. Personal taste I guess?

3This was nice, the best of the meals I've tasted so far. Sauce was a little runny but I boiled up some magic no-carb rice to thicken it, and added aromat and paprika to give it a little extra zing. I'll definitely order this one again

Yummy Pasta
5The Pasta Carbonara really is a delicious meal, creamy, saucy and tasty! Real little bits of pasta I really look forward to Lunch time and is great for the colder months to warm you up.

5The Exante pasta carbonara is delicious! A real treat, I enjoyed it so much in my bumper pack I bought the box of 50 and I really look forward to it during my day! Gorgeously cheesy with real pasta, it tastes far from a diet product and it's so delicious that my partner who isn't even on Exante wants a portion too! Would highly recommend.

4This and the porridge are my favourites. I make it as you would a powdered soup by adding water to it in a pan and heating. It feels like a meal and is a very tasty alternative to soups.

Great meal
5Pasta Carbonara is one of my favourite Exante products because it resembles a real meal: strings of pasta; creamy, parmesan-like taste and good consistency make it a nice change from Shakes & Soups. Key is in the preparation: place noodles in boiling water for 5 minutes to ensure they are not dry.
