I add more water and it makes a lovely thick and warming meal - and anyone on a VLCD diet would appreciate this - just because you feel like you have had something to eat

Horrible horrible

Between this and the spaghetti, they are just horrible. It is just a bowl of goo. It is bland so you can get it down if you are OK with the consistency of it. I would not order this again but it does keep you full - as I have found with all of the products.

I didn't know what to expect with the Exante hot dishes but knew it wasn't going to be like sitting down to a proper Shepherds Pie. The first time I made it I wasn't so sure but now I have mastered it and to my taste. I miss my spices so I added in some chilli powder .. this gave the dish the kick it needed for me. On the whole, Exante have managed to produce a small dish of Shepherd's Pie to at least make you feel you are having some normal food.

I absolutely love the shepards pie. considering its like posh noodles (just add water) and its 150 calories its really nice and filling

Definitely my favourite main meal- satisfying and tasty. Could eat this every day and not feel I was depriving myself. Great value.

This was the first meal i tried on day 1 - and whilst i liked the flavour i felt that i wouldn't be able to stick with the diet for long due to consistency. However, i have had this several times since (as I buy the bumper packs) and it has defiantly grown on me. Once your used to the consistency its great and much better than other vlcd products I've tried from other companies.

Okay... so when you make up this meal it doesn't look very appealing but my goodness it's yummy. It tastes exactly like Sheperds pie and looks just like your eating the bottom layer lol l. Would definitely recommend this one to anyone who struggles to stay on plan because of the lack of taste. I love it.
