Exante Strawberry Protein Wafer

These kind of remind me of eating strawberry protein powder but with a wafer wrapped around it. That’s not to say it’s a bad thing – if you have ever mixed protein shakes and tried some of the dry powder it’s quite pleasant, if a little sweet. This is similar but the wafer balances the sweetness. There are downsides though. I guess it was inevitable when sending wafers through the post that there is likely to be some damage. The first one I opened was ‘banged up’ – not totally smashed but in several pieces. Still perfectly edible but messier than I would have liked. Secondly, the wafers aren’t as filling as the meal replacement products – they really are just a snack. I guess this is by design but the difference is quite startling. I tend to eat a meal replacement bar over lunch with a litre of water (sounds odd but it works). This keeps me full until around 6pm. With the wafer, it’s not really possible to spread out the eating and they don’t really fill you up. If you are a frequent snacker between meals the wafer could possibly replace a bag of crisps and a chocolate bar and give you a net saving in calories (along with a better balance of protein to carb/fat) but you would have to be quite disciplined.

I had the Strawberry wafer bars for the first time and thought they were beautiful! The strawberry flavour really stands out, it is classed as a snack I think and not meal replacement so had inbetween my Bar and evening meal. My favourite flavour so far.

The strawberry is just as delicious as the chocolate wafer. It has a very strawberry flavour. Really nice to have as a treat, hope Exante brings in some more flavours soon.

This is great. Real strawberry flavour and great for satisfying that sweet craving!

These are really yummy. Makes a nice sweet treat. I perfer the chocolate ones over the strawberry ones but ill still be buying both. I would love to see other flavours like vanilla etc.

Just like the chocolate version, this is amazing....I was pleasantly surprised. I love sweet things and this didn't disappoint ....doesn't taste sachriny either Love it love it love it Thank you exante 

This is a dreamy strawberry cream filled wafer with a delicious chocolate base. Too tasty for words, the taste is amazing and worked well with my black coffee. There is no doubt that Exante is now the market leader in diet products!! Thank you Exante!
