Less water, more heat…
Should have read the other reviews before I made up.. 1st time followed instructions for water and ended up heating for over 3 mins to get some thickness..but still more like soup. 2nd time reduced to 100ml and did 3 minutes and was bang on. Good thickness, better consistency and the apple parts were hydrated and tasty. Overall will be happy to have as breakfast, not too sweet for me (I do prefer savoury and nothing too sweet and this was fine)

Give it a really good shake
It isn’t as nice as the original apple porridge that they used to do. Make sure you shake the bag really well because all the “flavour” powder sinks to the bottom. Also, put the flakes in a small bowl and add the water a bit at a time til it’s the consistency you like. It’s ok in a push if you fancy something other than a shake, but personally I’ll stick to the pancakes.

Apple and Cinnamon Porridge
Unfortunately I found this very bland and didn’t have much taste at all. It was very filling but I won’t be buying it again.

Love it!
Perfect breakfast on these cold winter mornings. It mixes well and I like the texture (quite thick and gloopy!) Keeps me full until lunch and I'd quite happily eat it every day.

Great taste but quite thin
Made up as per the instructions this is quite thin. On the plus side it has a nice flavour - fairly similar to the apple crumble and custard. Would definitely buy again, maybe just use less water to make it.

Tasty
I enjoyed this porridge as much as the others, and particularly the chocolate one.

Really Wanted This To Be Great . . .
I LOVE porridge for breakfast. I'd tried the cinnamon porridge that came in the pots and although thick, was not too bad. I had high hopes for this and unfortunately they fell flat on their face. I have tried to make as instructed and it ends up a sloppy sweet mess which ended up in the bin. Take 2 with less water was not much better. It's is really disappointing considering Exante have managed to get so much right with their range. Now have 10 packets which will take a short trip to the bin :( What a waste!

The Most Important Meal Of The Day
They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I really enjoyed the Apple and Cinnamon Porridge. I found that I wasn’t hungry until 1pm after having my porridge in the morning. Someone suggested making the porridge into rock buns which I’m looking forward to experimenting with.

Apple and cinnamon porridge
Another of my favourites quick to make and with a hot drink filling and satisfying for a long while I do find the apple pieces rubbery bug still edible.
