Artificial tasting and chewy
1This meal was not at all pleasant. It's beef flavoured soya rather than dried beef and, even after standing for the recommended time, the soya is simply clumps of very chewy 'stuff'. The taste on this one I found to be very artificial and the consistency, when adding the recommended amount of water, far too sloppy. I tried to jazz it up a bit with Tabasco and a lot of ground black pepper, but it still wasn't nice. Not one I'll be having again.

3taste is acceptable, just. digestibility ok. hardly makes me want to eat more though

Convenient, filling, but texture could be better
3Taste and smell are fine - definitely no worse than other "meal" packs. I like that there are identifiable black beans and rice but even after 9 minutes standing in boiling water, the texture is a little undercooked and crunchy for me.

Bean Pot
3Nice flavour however sometimes the beans stay a little crunchy, like to add chilli flakes for some added heat. Really comvenient

Awful
1I'd give this a miss - it's horrible texture , taste and smell. Couldnt eat it - in the bin it went ! it sounded so nice on paper aswell.

1I have lived every single Exant product I have ordered so far... however, I will never order these again. They smell like cat food when you add boiling water. Very hard to stomach other the awful smell.

5I absolutely love these, they really are an integral part of my day. When (Which is rare sometimes!) I get a lunch break, I'll let these sit with the water for at least 5 minutes, which makes them even more tastier and filling. Really helps with my plan and I feel fuller for longer!

4For convenience, it's great but, the flavour was just not for me. The quality of the meal was brilliant, great texture, and it did fill me up. I think if I add dried herbs and spices/ chilli, I think it would be delicious. I might order this again and see if there's a difference when I add the herbs and spices.
