Really unpleasant
1I'm not sure what exactly these scones taste of but it certainly isn't bacon and cheese. They look fine - they rise nicely and weren't raw in the middle. The texture is a bit spongy but bearable. However, they have a nasty bitter, artificial flavour to them, and it sticks with you for some time! I ended up throwing them away, and certainly wouldn't buy them again. Definitely the poorest Exante product I've tried.

Horrid!
1These are one of the worst things I've tasted so far. I couldn't finish them which must be saying something as I was starving. No amount of seasoning could disguise that awful taste. Exante need to start the recipe again on these.

1I was so looking forward to trying these out as I love scones They looked ok when I took them out the oven but they tasted Awful synthetic horrible taste and rubbery texture Best place for them is the Bin

Disgusting
1I had such high hopes for these but they taste very false and have a strange texture like a wet sponge. I was able to make 3 out of the packet and honestly I really didn't want to eat them as they were that horrible!

Lovely!!
5Really enjoyed these scones! Probably one of the best items in the exante Range. Really help in a morning and you feel as though you're getting abit of stooge! Especially for people who are missing bread. Really good item!

Disappointing
1I wasn't impressed with these, I didn't like smell before or after cooking, and the taste was just as bad as the smell. Like someone previously wrote- it was an over powering smell of fake cheese. It made me feel sick.. :(

Cooks well but tastes bad!
1Really odd synthetic taste, which was made worse by the fact they had cooked well and smelt good - making me excited to eat them. Really wouldn't bother with these.

Very strong taste
1I knew I wouldn't like these as I was mixing the sachet, it's a very overpowering fake cheese smell and they were no better cooked. I couldn't eat them because they were that bad. Maybe if you love strong cheeses you'll enjoy them but I couldn't stand them and I've eaten slimming world cheese scones made with Smash.

Would buy again
3I bought these to try and break up the pure liquid diet from shakes. I have to say I wasn't expecting them to be as good as they were, admittedly they do not taste of cheese and bacon more tomatoey and herby but pleasant enough, cook for a little longer than instructed and if you prefer sprinkle a tiny bit of cheddar cheese in the last few minutes of cooking.
