Not bad!
4I'm on working solution so used these scones as an accompaniment to some low fat beef broth I'd made. They were rather lacking in bacon flavour, more tomato flavour but as a replacement for bread to dunk in my broth, they were great! I recommend using silicone cupcake cases to make them, they popped straight out. It was good to use the oven too, it's been a while!

Bin them!
1They looked really nice when baked but tasted horrid! I can't even describe it! They are the best - in the bin! NEVER again! I always tried different packs from exante, some of them I liked more, some - less and didn't buy again but this is just not edible YUK!

lovely with marmite!
4I loved these scones. They did stick to the ramekin a bit but tasted delicious with a thin smattering of marmite, while still warm. Have them fir breakfast freshly baked..yummy

Not for me
1I didn't enjoy them. I followed the instructions but didn't look like the pictures and the flavour was far too much for me.

Great to take out
5I make 3 cup cake sized 'scones' from one pack, and they keep well in a sandwich bag, so I find that I can take them when I go out and have 3 snacks to eat while still only having one of my 3-a-day

Truly disappointing
1While the scones cooked well and made my kitchen smell amazing, the texture of them was just too soft & was like eating gross soggy bread. It was nice to have a change from eating all foods in liquid form, however I would not get these again.

High expectations high disappointment
1Exactly as the title says - high expectations, high disappointment. However, it is supposed to be a diet food - not a french bakery product.

surprised by these
4I brought these with trepidation after not liking cheese and bacon eggs, but found myself pleasantly surprised by the taste of the scones. They were simple to make in ramekins in the oven and made a change to shakes and bars for me. They cooked well but I didn't leave them long enough so were sloppy instead of all solid, however that was user error as opposed to the product. They were filling as made 2 quite large scones with the mix.

Awful
1I decided to try these to take to work for breakfast. They taste nothing like cheese and bacon! Tomato is the main flavour if that's what you can call it. The texture when hot was like a wet sponge that had been soaked in tomato herb passata but only a hint of it! Made two from one packet and managed to eat one bite. I decided to let the other one go cold to see if it would be any better...... I was wrong! I had the after taste of tomato passata until lunchtime and it repeated on me. I will not be ordering these again. If you do want to try don't buy more than one as you will have lots left over like me...doh

disappointed
2Although this meal replacement is completely edible it falls short of the exante diet standard. With a strange texture this "scone" is definitely not to my taste. But it is the flavour that truly lets it down the promised cheese and bacon was no where to be tasted insted there was a strong tomato flavor. Savoury tomato scone may be a better name for this product to avoid others being disappointed.
