Too salty.
2I'm not a fan of chocolate shakes to be fair but I didn't like this at all. It tasted very overly salty. Not for me but not as bad as the bars I've tried hence the two stars.

chocolate shake
4Very nice. I dont have sweet tooth but find the choc shakes good. They are very thick though which i dont like so would advise 400ml water, ice cubes and blast in blender. So nice.

4It tasted like chocolate... that's the good part. I'm not a big fan of chocolate "flavoured" things. This does taste like fake chocolate. I don't think I'd order it again.

Gluten free, means less creamy and less flavour
3They are okay if you make it as a hot chocolate, but definitely less creamy than the old version. For hot chocolate I use at least twice the amount of liquid. I pour boiling water over the shake and then use a hand held blender to whisk it up in the tall beaker that comes with the stick whisk. It gives me two cups of hot chocolate which is really satisfying. Since the change to the new gluten free formula, I sometimes add a tiny bit of unsweetened cocoa, less than quarter of teaspoon to the powder before making it up. I'm less keen on drinking it cold as per the packet instructions now it has changed to Gluten It's okay, but rather odd now it is less creamy. Chocolate shakes are pretty standard in VLCD diets, and since the change, there are better tasting ones on the market. If you love chocolate shakes, maybe try one of the other brands.

Exante diet chocolate shake
5Delicious....kept me satisfied for hours. Only been on Exante diet for a couple of weeks and already lost 12lbs. Very happy.

Chocolate goodness
4This has to be my second exante favourite shake! I am never a fan of chocolate shakes and have tried several shakes on other vlcd plans and have not been able to continue with the plans due to how nasty the shakes are - I don't feel that way with this. The packet makes a delicious frothy shake full of flavour. If you like chocolate, you won't be disappointed. There is no chalky texture, it mixes well and leaves you full and satisfied - I dare say, it feels naughty to have this chocolate product knowing you can have them and still lose weight
