The double chocolate bar doesn't taste like cake chocolate, it's rich, like Christmas pudding, but is absolutely lovely. It's filling because it takes quite a time to get through. Really like this bar.

I think what a lot of people who buy these bars forgot is that these are VLCD meal replacement items..they are not going to taste magnificent and were not made purely for taste..however, the double chocolate bar is nice, it tastes like chocolate and for me it gives me a satisfying meal and also gives me vitamins and nutrients which means that I am confident that I am not starving my body whilst trying to lose weight..well done Exante, your products are making a lot of overweight people healthy and happy!

Do not usually like chocolatty things but really like this bar. Cuts up into smaller pieces to enjoy with a cup of tea for my lunchtime meal. I am on my third order and this time have ordered all the items I really enjoy. This bar is great.

Disappointed after reading the reviews

Tried macaroni tonight which had this strong taste I couldn't put my finger on but I wasn't able to eat even one spoonful! So tried this bar instead after only having vanilla shakes before (which I love). The texture is good, quite like a mars bar but it smells and has an aftertaste the same as the strong taste in the macaroni. I did manage to eat it but didn't enjoy it at all. I'm assuming it's the formulation of vitamins and minerals which is somehow hidden better in the shake! Won't be buying again and I'm glad I only bought one to try. Have a few other flavours of bar to try, hope they are better!
