Unrecognisable as Daal
1I had high hopes for this, but …Horrible, tasteless. Like bird seed, floating in brown liquid. Pretty much devoid of any flavour. Very disappointing. I am coming quickly to the conclusion that this brand is not for me, unfortunately.

Too spicy for me!
2I found this very spicy, but the texture was good . I don't think I'd buy again but for someone who like spicy food I'm sure they'd like it.

Feels like a Takeaway
5The Indian Daal pot is absolutely delicious. I seriously felt like I was cheating, it was THAT good. The spices were lovely and it was very filling. I loved it so much I have had a few of these for the order I am placing soon! I can happily enjoy this when the hubby wants a takeaway.

It’s ok
2The taste of this Daal tbh is not that great. It’s probably easier and a lot tastier to make some thin daal with some whole meal rice in weighed out quantities to get 202 calories. Better tasting products from Exante are available this one I would give a miss

4Very flavoursome, texture is the same as most pot meals that require water adding. Would recommend and buy again.

Nice flavour
4This is a nice flavour, I liked the pot for my tea, it filled me up. I thought it tasted quite similar to a savoury rice.

Pop this pot in your bag
5This is the easiest prep ever, and perfect if you are out and about. I sometimes make it up and add broccoli for an evening meal and if I am out for a day just pop it in my bag and anywhere will give you hot water, I think it has a great taste and very filling

Spicy treat
5This is our second time on the Exante meal replacement diet and things are going well. Because we are both on the diet it enables me to prepare a meal for two by having the Indian Daal Pot Meal along with the Indian Style Curry. We add some coriander and chillies for a satisfying meal and a spicy treat. We are losing over a kilogram a week and highly recommend that you at least try it out, after all - what have you got to lose? Personally I’ve got a target of 20kg, with Exante I am confident of achieving that goal this year.
