1These taste very artificial which is a shame, I will not be buying them again.

3These smelt wonderful as I cooked them. I had very high hopes. Even my husband wanted to have them. I know that lots of these products have the “ after taste.” I’m used to that ( I did a consultant lead version years ago) and that wasn’t the weird flavour. I wasn’t keen, husband is, I’ll make sure to get through the rest of the packets I have but won’t reorder.

Not great
2This is the product that has tasted the most 'fake/manufactured' that I have tried so far. It's just not quite right. Also, the picture is a complete joke - my sister and I both made them and they came out as messy mush. I do not recommend.

Delicious (and a possible theory for those green dots?)
5I have been enjoying both the lemon and maple syrup pancakes a few times a week for several months now and am still amazed at how good they taste. It really feels like a treat, I tend to add 0% fat Greek-style yoghurt, blueberries, a little Exante maple syrup, and sometimes a bit of desiccated coconut or chopped hazelnuts. Delicious! Along with some other reviewers I have noticed the green speckles in the cooked pancake and although I’m certainly no scientist I would say that given they aren’t present in the dry mix, it’s more than likely a result of chemical reactions when cooking. For instance , copper (which is listed as one of the several added vitamins and minerals) will turn green when exposed to ‘the elements’. Just a theory! Whatever causes it, I haven’t had any ill-effects due to my consumption of them so hope that gives *some* reassurance!

1Sorry Exante you missed the mark. These are terrible. I find they have a bitter after taste and the Maple syrup smell is too much. I’m a talented cook so with patience was able to produce a nice looking pancake but I was really disappointed with the flavour and smell. Exante you need to revise this recipe !!!

1I hate to leave a bad review but these were so unpleasant. Between the smell to the spongey egg like texture. They had green spots in them and tasted like they had mixed a shake with an egg 🤢

5Whenever I make these maple syrup pancakes my little grandsons come into the house and say, “What is that delicious smell?”…… I can’t make them in secret😂
