It’s ok!
4Let’s be fair, these are meal replacements, not actual meals. This pasta has had a lot of stick, but it’s been a standard item for Exante for a long time, so someone keeps eating it. Probably me... It’s acceptable but a bit bland. You do need to add seasoning, and lots of it. But it’s perfectly edible, fills one up and stops you diving into all the contents of the fridge you’re trying to avoid. So, it’ll never set the world on fire, but it’s ok.

Not as bad as expected
3Looking at the majority of reviews for this I was expecting it to be one for the bin but gave it a shot. Was actually surprised because it wasn't as horrific as I was expecting. The taste is ok but the lack of pasta made the dish feel pointless it was just like eating a cheesy sauce. The picture is highly misleading, don't think you'd get that amount of pasta out of 10 sachets let alone 1!

Horrendous
1Doesn’t even taste remotely like carbonara! Smells as bad as it tastes! I couldn’t stomach it at all and I’m not fussy with my food!

Gross
1Opened the packet and smelt delicious.... once added to water and microwaved, it looked like something the cat sicked up 🐱 two mouthfuls and in the bin it went.

1Without a doubt the most vile thing I have ever tasted. Had to throw out the rest of the packets.

1The smell that this product gave off was abolsutely foul I couldn’t even bring myself to taste it. I end up throwing the full thing in the bin including the bowl as I could t stand to smell it any longer!

Vile
1Vile. Salty gloop with banana overtones. House and microwave stank for days afterwards. Avoid. Unfortunately there were 3 in my starter box, I was unable to finish it.

1Awful weird pure salt taste with a weird banana after taste texture is gloopy. And made my whole house stink. I Baugh the 4 week plan. It includes majority shakes. They put a few pasta carbs in- looking forward to having a hot meal. SO SO DISAPOINTING.

2Should have read the reviews. Totally inedible, formed a weird gloopy paste with a chalky texture and a taste I can’t describe. The rest are going in the bin.
