Smelt of banana...
1Exante products are brilliant. This one however has been my least favourite of them all. Had a strange smell of bananas and didn’t taste remotely like a carbonara sauce.

Car-banana more like
1Honestly it’s terrible. It’s the only meal so far that I haven’t been able to finish. I’ve done it as required, and I’ve done it as suggested by reviewers with pepper, with salt, with garlic and oil, with extra water. Nothing works. It is just subtly wrong. The aftertaste is terrible. The thing tastes like banana. I don’t know how or why, but it’s utterly awful.

3These were ok,I find all meals & shakes I have tried have a similar flavour although I cannot think what it is !!!

Not my favourite
2It smelled odd when I mixed it and gave a really odd aftertaste in mouth, like a metal taste. Think it could be made better by adding some herbs but had it without any.

Avoid
1This is unpleasant. Stay away as there are better options. What is so sad is that the pasta ham and mushroom soup tastes great and 90% of what this dish SHOULD be.

fake cheese
3As per other reviewers, a little more water is needed than the 150ml. The best way of decribing the smell is fake cheese (wotsits) and fake bacon (frazzles), however texture of fake pasta is V good but sauce is a bit too much like baby food texture. It's edible, it fills you up. If you aren't willing to settle for artificial smelling and tasting foods when on a diet, then perhaps this one isn't for you. I remember much worse tasting school dinners.

Not great
1Sorry, this one is the worst of the range. The texture is awful, it doesn't taste nice and leaves a horrible after taste. Won't be ordering this one again!

Not nice
1There is a strong chemical smell, taste and aftertaste to this. I tried adding some tuna, salt and cayenne to try and drown it out but didn't really succeed. Forced myself to eat it and felt a bit sick afterwards. The odour and taste reminded me of the Cheese & Bacon Breakfast Eggs. I had the same reaction to those as well. Maybe it's whatever Exante are using as a cheese replacement. I don't know how I'm going to get through the remaining three I've got. Will not buy this one again.

Well I'm not hungry now
2Easy enough to make and smells ok. I washed each spoonful down with a glug of black coffee. First three mouthfuls were doable but it got increasingly more difficult to swallow. It is far too salty. I'm not sure if it filled me up or just put me off food for a few hours.

1I looked like mushed up banana and kind of tasted like it too. Could have done putting more water in than packet specified and some seasoning too.
