Yuck
2This is horrible. It takes ages for the pasta to soften by which time the meal's not that hot, it has a horrid sweetness and nasty, cloying after taste. Given it 2 stars as it's quite filling but won't be buying this one again.

Lovely
5Really like this one - in common with many of the products, I think extra water is the key. Also, it needs quite a few minutes standing time for the pasta to soften, otherwise it's crunchy. It doesn't really taste like 'diet food', so it feels a bit 'naughty' despite being 100% on plan - and that's good in my book!

Cheesy tastic!
4I actually really like this - it's less like the picture and more like a thick cheesy soup, quite salty, a bit like the sauce you get with packet pasta. I've been craving savoury (although found it a little sickly by the end).

5The sauce is grainy, the spaghetti is sparse, small and sad, but gosh do I love it. I find it to be less sickly than normal carbonara. Add some garlic salt, maybe a hint of black pepper if that's your thing and it's perfect. Not everyone will be a fan because of the texture, but I personally can look past that. Sadly, it's out of stock right now. I await the day my lover comes home.

Surprising taste
5Having started exante again and just getting a mixed order to start I must say I'm really impressed with how yummy these carbonara meals are they taste just like it and fill you up nicely too really enjoy having these as part of my plan

Really very lovely, low rating is unjustified
5Not sure why this product has a poor rating. I was put off ordering by the reviews but bought just a couple to try and loved them, I have in fact just ordered abother batch in this week's order.

Prefer the old recipe
2Again, didn't know the recipe had changed. Really liked them before but now there's an odd texture and a strange taste. Maybe a bit salty.

Gross poor
1Used these around 2 years ago to diet, tryed again in 2017 recipe has changed flavour is disgusting & the texture is very like powder Horrible Very disappointed

2Ive used these products for years for weight maintenance, having lost 7 stone using replacement meal packs, particualrly this pack. The recipe has changed however and now it's very poor. Salty and strange texture, almost frothy. Such a shame as I always stuck to the ones I really like, and now that appears to be the bars alone. Guess I'll have to look elsewhere.
