Not Good
1Bought the Pizza Base kit to try as moving from the 5:2 to the working solution to get ready for summer and thought these would be a nice change. While adding the water to the base mix I knew straight away I wouldn't be able to eat it. The smell was awful and persisted all the way through cooking. I persevered however and made the rest of it and topped with some lean ham and a bit of cheese but the first mouthful tasted like it had smelt. Very unhappy with this as all the other shakes and bars have been great. So Im now a sad bunny and will be sticking to the products I am comfortable with.

1Was so disappointed with this product. The base had a really odd taste and the tomato topping was very sickly. Pizza is usually.my favourite meal but I won't be having it again

4This was actually ok added a wee bit of cheese and some side salad and ittook away my craving for stuffing my face with a big fat pizza. Quite filling as well esp when drinking water alongside

Acquired taste
4I found the taste of the base of this 'pizza' a little strange, not overly keen. I added garlic and herbs which did help. Otherwise it does make a nice change.

A refreshing change...
4The pizza kit is a refreshing change to the standard bowl meals and gives you a different texture to add into your diet. I really look forward to eating this product. No need to add cheese as it's tasty enough with a few toppings, like spinach, red onion and cherry tomatoes. This product really helps me keep on track! Remember to either use spray oil or greaseproof paper (the right way up) so that your base doesn't stick while cooking! :)

Not so naughty!
5I thought I'd try the Exante pizza kit as I'm a bit of a "carb" fiend! I was very pleasantly surprised. I bought the box of 7 as I thought I'd make one for my husband too. Our first attempt wasn't perfect as I used the wrong baking paper and they stuck! Second attempt, last night, I used just a non-stick baking tray and the results were excellent! We added a few raw mushrooms and ate with a green salad, I couldn't finish it! Fabulously filling, tasty and very satisfying, I will definitely be buying them again! (By the way, I've lost 14lbs in 2 weeks, Total Solution plus. Very happy lady!)

5wow, just wow. these are the answer to a cheat free weekend, well done exante. very filling i havent managed to eat a whole one yet but they are really delicious either on their own with exante pizza sauce ( TS ) or on a food week with a few permitted extras. its the perfect weekend evening meal. diet? what diet? :)

A fantastic change
5I really wasn't expecting much from these however I have been pleasantly surprised. They do still taste like a diet product, and the sauce is very much like a thick version of the tomato soup (same taste) however with a little tweaking (a small blob each of tomato and garlic puree) it makes a fantastic alternative to the other products. I have one as a weekly treat and add some chorizo, chicken and some reduced fat mozzarella (so not adding any extra carbs). I bake the base on some non stick foil until slightly brown, then add the sauce and toppings and then cook for another 7 minutes or so. Brushing a tiny amount of olive oil or a couple of sprays of 1cal spay oil over the crust stops the outside burning whilst your topping cook. I haven't yet been able to get a crispy base though :( - possibly because I'm using foil rather than greaseproof paper. But overall a really great addition to the range. Well done Exante!
