1st meal tried
4Was the first meal tried, didn't quite know what to expect, was pleasantly surprised. Smelt like the real thing, and tasted ok. Needed to be microwaved for longer as the pasta was hardish. Will do that next time. Not the real thing, but certainly edible.

Don’t do it
1I thought I would ignore the reviews, and try it. Don’t do it. It’s not very nice!! Like baby powder food that’s quite salty.

ignore the appearance!
3A lot are saying this is the worst one but for me it wasn't! Granted it looked absolutely nothing like the picture displayed, and if you can get over the aesthetic it is not bad. Very herby and thick texture. Reminds me of tinned Spaghetti Bolognese or tinned ravioli if anyone has tried that before!! Its not a gastronomic revelations but certainly not the worst!!!

Get something else
1Exante has a lot of really delicious products, this isn't one of them. I had this on my first day, me and hubby were left wondering if the meal was meant to put a person off food for life. Not nice at all.

Tasty
5Naturally not like real spag Bol but very tasty -so far my favourite of the meal replacements. Tastes like vegetables are included which I like. I’d happily eat it without being on a plan.

Spag bolo
2Didn't smell or taste like bolognese and i know it's possible to recreate it as another VLCD brand do that very well. Won't order again.

Reasonable
4On its own it's fine, nothing like a proper spag bol but a nice change from sweet shakes. But last time I made it I used a tin of tomatoes instead of water - it added 100kcal but changed it into a huge bowl of something that was absolutely delicious!

Awful
1Absolutely awful. Looked, smelt and tasted exactly like a jar of baby food. Looks absolutely nothing like that photo. A least a little more edible than the carbonara which I would give minus stars if I could. If you have taste buds, avoid!

The worst one?
2It's sweet. That was the most off-putting thing. Texture is fine pretty much. I do think adding vegetables helped and some Worcestershire sauce. Not sure I would purchase again, I'd rather use 200 calories on lean beef and tomatoes.

1After 5 spoonful.. I couldnt eat this no more.. its not very tasty
