Not sure about this one
3This is the only meal I have tried and I am going to order more hot meals with my next order - but think I should have added more water as it was really thick. Nice taste, but odd texture like mushroom flavour instant mash with nutty bits (hard rice). I will cook differently next time - lovely flavour.

4Maybe try 200ml water first, otherwise you may find it too runny!

Mushroom Risotto
4This is very yummy, but the instructions on the packet are not very helpful. I have tried various combinations but find that the best is to use about 250 ml of boiling water and increase the standing and cooking times. Otherwise the rice is very hard. I usually stand the risotto for about 5 mins before cooking, and then increase the cooking time by one minute. Its best to increase time gradually, give it a stir and see how its going!

Too salty!
1I was not keen on this product. It was too salty and I was unable to eat more than one mouthful. I enjoy most of the Exante Diet products but unfortunately not this one.

4Had to mess about with the cooking instructions a bit to get them right but what a lovely meal !!!! It tastes just like it should and is Very Mushroomy which is excellent

mix it up
4I've found through trial and the occasional error :-( I prefer this when added to, a little more mushroom and a few green veg (I use tiny broccoli florets and chopped French beans) more liquid and some mixed herbs turns this simple sachet into something more substantial, I've also added hot spices such as paprika and makes a completely different taste.

5The Mushroom Risotto is really nice tasting. The texture is nice and thick, and makes a good quantity to eat. This is my 2nd favourite after apple and cinnamon porridge. I also recommend cottage pie, which again makes a good quantity. As you can see, I prefer the bulky items! I was surprised that Exante dropped the Mousse Mix, as I always make my milkshakes with this, and I was sorry I missed the sell-off! Has anyone considered a swap scheme, where people can exchange packets they don't enjoy, with other members? Pasta Carbonara anyone?

Fab!
5Gorgeous mushroom risotto, I added some seasoning to it (salt, pepper and garlic powder) I heated a pan up and put a small drop of water in the bottom then added the product and made the risotto over the hob, thickened it up beautifully. Again well done Exante!
