Not nice at all
1This didn’t look anything like risotto. Sloppy mush, as I tipped it on to a plate to eat with broccoli as a ‘real meal’. It tasted awful, one of only a few of the Exante products I wouldn’t order again. I had high hopes, sounded potentially tasty, and easy to take to eat at work but a huge No from me.

Not Good
1This has the weirdest powdery texture ever, added extra water to one, added some seasoning to a second one, but I just can't eat it! It's like salty mush unfortunately

Blummin’ lovely!
5I don’t get all the negative reviews - this is blummin’ lovely! I did use a bit more water than recommended and it still ended up nice and thick. It’s quite spicy but that just adds to the flavour, I feel. I didn’t detect any over-saltiness, I thought the balance was just right. This is definitely going to be a regular fixture, particularly when I’m working, as it’s so easily transportable.

Risotto
3This smelt nice to me. I needed to add a lot more water than advised, I added at least an extra 150 mls. It has a lot of flavour, herby, but I’d say it more of a vegetable soup flavour than tomato and pepper flavour. The texture took some getting used to. It was extremely filling though and was easy to prepare at work and kept me going through my work day until dinner. Next time I might add pepper and a teeny pinch of Parmesan to add some more interest.

Tasty
5Lots of criticism for being too salty but I think super tasty and one of the best savoury meals in the range. I never write reviews but made the exception here given all the negative remarks. Like everything it’s down to personal taste and to the poor person whose tongue hurt after eating I would say……. I won’t actually as I may be banned

Awful
1All I can say is it’s disgusting! Added some peas to try and improve the taste but it was still awful. This is the only product I’ve had to date which I had one mouth full and left

Salty and Spicy
1Was keen to try the new pot meals to make it easier to follow the plan when out and about. This was truly dreadful. It started off disgustingly salty but the afterburn of pepper and chili was overwhelming and not enjoyable at all. Wish I had only bought one. I cannot recommend this at all, especially if you don't care for spicy food.

Not good stay clear
1Not one to usually leave a review on websites, but i have been using exante products for many years now and this product is truly dreadful, please bring back the creamy thai and dahl meal pots.
